HST." HST is shorthand for a solid colored sheep with white on it's
Head,
Socks and
Tail. From the very beginning, I was drawn to the flashy, good looks of the spotted Shetlands but preferred a solid colored fleece for hand-spinning. HST gives me the best of both worlds!
My first priority, when selecting breeding animals, has always been correct conformation. Followed closely by soft, dense fleece. Add the eye-catching flash of HST spotting and you've got one, beautiful Shetland sheep! Breeding stock is available for sale...
